Who We Are
ProStyle Construction Ltd. is a residential builder and renovator based in Langley Township, British Columbia. We are responsible for the personal information collected through pro-style.ca and handle it under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What the Contact Form Collects
When you send an enquiry, the form collects:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the subject you choose, which is the type of project
- how you heard about us
- your message, including anything you tell us about your home and your project
- the page you sent the form from
Our website host also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
How We Use It
We use your enquiry to:
- reply to you and talk through your project
- keep a record of the conversation about your project, including any proposal we prepare
- see which of our marketing brings in enquiries, from your answer to how you heard about us
By sending an enquiry, you consent to these uses. We do not sell personal information or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who Receives It
Enquiries are read by Abel Strujenco and Randy Ferchoff. If your project goes ahead, the ProStyle team members working on it see the details they need to run it.
We also use service providers that handle information on our behalf:
- Resend, which delivers form enquiries to our inbox by email
- Vercel, which hosts this website
- Google Sheets, where we log enquiries
- JobTread, the system we run every project on
- WhatConverts, which records how an enquiry reached us
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of that country. We share personal information with anyone else only when the law requires it or you ask us to.
How We Protect It
Enquiries travel to us over an encrypted connection, and access to them is limited to the people and providers named on this page.
How Long We Keep It
If your project goes ahead, your enquiry becomes part of the project file, which we keep for as long as the contract, the warranty and the law require. If it does not, we delete or anonymize the enquiry once it is no longer needed for the reason you sent it or for our legal and business records.
Cookies and Tracking
This website uses four tools that set cookies:
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are read, so we can see how the site is used.
- Google Ads tags record when someone who clicked one of our Google ads sends an enquiry, so we can measure our advertising on Google.
- The Meta pixel tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages are visited and when an enquiry is sent, so we can measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can control the ads Meta shows you in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
- WhatConverts records how a visitor reached the site and shows a tracking phone number, so we can see which of our marketing brings in enquiries and calls.
Films on this site are hosted by Vimeo. The player loads only when you press play, and Vimeo may then set its own cookies under Vimeo’s privacy policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Seeing and Correcting Your Information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, how it has been used and who it has been shared with, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. You can also withdraw your consent to our using it, which may mean we can no longer work on your enquiry.
Send requests to info@pro-style.ca. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can ask the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia to review it.
